Why a produce exchange?
I got tired of seeing fruit rotting on the ground under trees while I walked and biked through town. So I finally did something about it. My goal is to allow people to share excesses from their gardens via a web-based system. Everybody wins!
Sounds great. How do I get started?
First, check the FAQ page for any questions you might have. Then head on over to the produce exchange board. There's also a discussion board to where you can trade growing tips, recipes, and more. Please read all info provided with each before registering. Please note that you must register for each separately.
What's next?
I'd like to eventually have some occasional events where we can come together with our extra bounty to swap produce, smiles and stories.
